    LEAD FACULTY ADVISIOR

    Jose is an alumnus of Lawrence Tech's Computer Science and Game Development program with a master's degree in Intelligent Systems. Now a professor and program coordinator, Jose loves to paint miniatures and play spooky horror games in his free time. Look for the cool jacket!

  • Dr. Ahu Yolac

    FACULTY ADVISOR

    Dr. Ahu is an Assistant Professor and co-coordinator of Game Design at LTU. She has a BFA in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, MSc in Industrial Design and PhD in Game Design. She loves games with a strong and exciting world building, come chat with her!

  • Dr. Stephen Mallory

    FACULTY ADVISOR

    Dr. Mallory is an Assistant Professor and co-coordinator of Game Design at LTU. He has a BA in History, MA and PhD Arts and Technology. He was a game developer for over a decade before becoming a professor. He loves making tabletop and digital games.

    Evan is an alumnus of LTU. Now a Systems Analyst at Broward Health in South Florida, Evan programs games to cool down. His favorite game genres are Sci-Fi & VR, and loves to listen to music at full blast whenever possible. Come say hi to Evan running around the event!

  • Maggie Hartman

    Maggie is a senior in the Game Design program at LTU. In her free time, she also helps run the on campus gaming group that gets people together to play video and tabletop games. She’ll be running around the event as well as showcasing her senior project in the game expo room. Say hi if you see her around!

    Theo is an alumni from LTU with a Bachelor’s degree in Game Art and former student organization leader. He loves doodling wacky character designs, especially any creatures or skeletal characters. He is happy to chat with people, feel free to stop by for any help, directions, or anything else!

    Maddie is a senior working towards their Bachelor’s degree for Game Design at LTU. Outside of their school projects, they play tabletop games as both a dungeon master and player alike. Otherwise, they study narrative-based video games for inspiration and draw in their spare time. They hope you have a great time at the expo!

    Lauren is an undergraduate student at LTU. She is working to earn her sweet Bachelor’s Degree in Game Art. As a gamer and die-hard Nintendo fan; some of her favorite games include: LoZ Twilight Princess, Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards, and Stardew Valley. You may spot her around wearing a hat of some sort.     Joe is an Alumni from LTU with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Joe helped coordinate earlier iterations of LTUX between 2014 and 2019, when it was still known as LTU Anime Con, and still works on Campus. He has been a fan of anime since the mid-90s, so that might date him a bit. During his limited time you can find him playing Minecraft and collecting anime enamel pins.
